Japan snow mag cover shots 2010!

As we wait for winter to arrive, we find ourselves buying up lots of ski and snowboard mags and checking out all the latest snow dvds. Short of actually riding, it’s the best way to get excited and stoked for winter during those bleak pre-season months.

So far we’ve spotted Japan on the covers of  the latest issues of 3 major snowboard magazines – Transworld Snowboarding, Transition and Onboard. The 2009/2010 winter season in Japan saw epic snowfalls and the pictures of pillows and deep powder featured on the front covers of these magazines tell their own story.

The latest issue of Transworld Snowboarding, featuring Flow team rider Tim Humphrey’s bouncing over avi gates loaded with giant pillows of pow in Japan. We like!

The current issue of Sweden’s Transition Magazine has an awesome cover shot of Lib Tech ripper Jakob Wilhelmson laying out a classic front three in the legendary Japanese powder. Nice work!

Need some stoke? Then go grab yourself a copy of Onboard Snowboarding Magazine, Europe’s top snowboard mag. Not only does it come with a FREE copy of Jeremy Jones’ long awaited ‘Deeper’ dvd, it also features Flow team rider Jeremy Thompson smack bang on the front cover taking on an epic wall ride, Japan style.
